This is a single storey, rear timber framed extension. The kitchen was designed with a modern look; sharp angles and contrasting colours, whilst optimising the use of natural light. 

KITCHEN SPACE AND WORK AREA

The kitchen now has an adequate amount of space to navigate around, along with an island in the middle. The clients were keen to incorporate as much natural light as possible in their redesign adding in skylights, a bulls-eye window, picture window and bi-folding doors. Specifying light cabinets enabled incoming light to reflect and bounce onto surrounding surfaces.

ISLAND/WORKTOP

The island in the middle provides additional worktop space and storage in the kitchen.

ISLAND DINING AREA

The island can be used as a dining area, Bar stools allow for people to sit and use the worktop as a dining table.

The kitchen extension was built 3 meters into the garden with a pitched roof.
